About the workshop: In this workshop the attendees will learn a new and unique approach to shooting & experimenting in the studio (whether it be an in a home studio, hotel room, or large commercial studio), while also learning to experiment with the light by using simple in studio methods. With a combination of standard "traditional" and "unconventional" off camera lighting, the attendees will be able create unique and fun imagery that can be applied to a variety of clients to include couples, boudoir, and fine art imagery. In addition, we will cover how lighting can ultimately change a photograph and how with the right lighting you can create any desired mood. We will also touch on posing and how make your client comfortable in the studio.

About Kelly: While I am very experienced with studio lighting I often use very little resources to achieve different looks in the studio. I am often finding creative and new ways to light subjects in the studio and dedicate one day a week just to experimenting with lighting in the studio. Although many of my studio techniques are unconventional, they are easy to learn and are cost effective to beginner studio shooter. I have also won 8 accolades of excellence from WPPI in the past 2 years (all of which have been studio images).
